James practises energy healing and intuitive counselling in Northcote, an inner suburb of Melbourne, Australia.
Clients see James for many reasons: they might feel out of balance, feel 'stuck' in life or a situation, have relationship or personal challenges, need to change negative behaviour patterns or belief systems, experience stress, anxiety, depression or dis-ease, feel incomplete or like something is missing, want to evolve on a personal or spiritual level, or simply seek insights and guidance on any matter.
James begins a session by sitting with the client to discuss their situation. He is guided intuitively on what information and aspects of healing they need. The client then lies on the Reiki table where James uses a combination of modalities to do the work.
Clients can ask James questions at any stage in a session and he 'tunes in' to get messages. When he does this, James uses High Sense Perception to access information. This is an ability to gather insights from beyond the typical 5 senses. Some people call this intuition, clairaudience, clairvoyance or mediumship. In fact, people sometimes come to James and want a 'reading', however he only does this within a healing.
People typically feel relaxed and lighter after a session, with a sense of clarity, wellbeing and positivity.
Each session ends with an angel card reading.
Some people wonder why the work that James does is so effective. Experts are realising that traditional counselling or talk therapy can only go so far because it just speaks to the mind. Our life experiences and the way that we process things goes beyond just our mind. Stress, grief, trauma, and emotions are also stored in the body and energy field, so these need to be involved in any healing to address the situation on all levels. James engages all aspects of a client when he works with them in order to shift what has been held, overcome blockages, and bring about desired change.
Healings are available in person or remotely.

CLEARINGS
Homes, buildings, businesses and objects can hold energy that is negative, low vibrational and heavy. Sometimes a space feels yuck or dark because something is not right. James provides a service to clear these, release any attachments, and guard what was cleansed against negative emotions or entities.
Sometimes older houses hold the presence of someone who is no longer alive but their energy and spirit still remains. It could be that a soul is caught in the wrong dimension and needs moving on. When people see or feel this, it can be unsettling and is not nice to be around, which affects your own energy. A clearing can make the space feel lighter and comfortable to be in, bringing about a state of peace and balance.
If there have been arguments, tension and stress in a home, business or car, this will also leave an energy imprint that needs clearing. Similarly, items you purchase that had previous owners will hold that person's energy and it's helpful to have these things cleared.
James also clears people because they too can attract and carry attachments or negativity. This can cause many issues, behaviours and problems, and should be addressed. If someone needs clearing, they usually feel quite off, very heavy and 'not themselves'. Clearings for people are usually done in person as a part of a 1 hour healing as per the details above. They can also be done effectively as a separate component via distance.
SELF-DEVELOPMENT

James delivered his Understanding Relationships webinar in 2024, which is packed with insights and tools to help people get the most out of ALL the relationships in their lives. Understanding Relationships gives a spiritual perspective on the opportunities that relationships afford you and there are learnings for everyone in this webinar. James ran two sessions of his workshop on The practise of Meditation in 2025. Other workshops are planned for delivery in the next year including two new ones, I am Health and Happiness - a wellbeing workshop, and How to create change and live your ideal life! More sessions of The practise of Meditation will also be held.
James is guided to develop all his personal and self-development material by tuning into the needs of people to help the greater good of all. He collates the content using; High Sense Perception, insights gained from working with clients, life experiences, and other source materials.
As a Reiki and Seichim Master, James also teaches students through the different levels of these two hands-on healing systems. This consists of three full day courses that people can progress through when they are ready for each stage, including:
- Reiki level 1 First degree & Seichim level 1.
- Reiki level 2 Second degree.
- Reiki & Seichim Masters.
COACHING
James provides coaching and mentorship on a 1:1 basis to help people reach their personal, self-development, and spiritual goals.
In consultation with the client, James creates an individual program focussed on achieving the desired outcomes. Programs typically include coaching conversations and check-ins, strategic approaches to creating and managing change, conscious reflection, and tools and resources that can be used in the pursuit of self-actualisation. Intuitive counselling and healings are also provided as a part of a program.
Sessions are scheduled to suit the client's availability and can be face-to-face appointments or via phone and video calls.
